After one of Vauthrin’s rants I said something about not having Radicalized DVauthrin on my OWA bingo card.
His political awakening or at least its manifestation here is equal parts welcome and unexpected, at least within the obviously limited parameters that define my own expectations.
By the way, after last night’s get together I’ve had that goddamn Jethro Tull song in my head. Fortunately I know where Neil lives and plan to send someone after him shortly. Also, I did end up wondering if David even knows who the hell Jethro Tull is.
Once my goons finish with Neil they’re coming for you next, tough guy.
Hey I got an idea I’m gonna start a hard rock band Oh yeah what are you gonna play The flute Sounds good just be sure to stand on one leg and look like a lunatic fresh from the asylum Can do
I’ve seen the name mentioned here and on the old site, but I haven’t ever listened to any of their music. Of course, now I understand why I was asked if I could play the flute while standing on one leg last night.
Trump’s current (checks Twitter…yes, still current) National Security Advisor, Robert O’Brien, tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Lucky for Trump he doesn’t take security briefings.
O’Brien stayed home, but no one told his staff why, many of them learning the news from the press.
Marlins season opener cancelled as 14 people - including some players and coaches - test positive for COVID-19. They get tested frequently and get their results back in a timely fashion. Imagine if they had to wait 10 days to get their results like the rest of us; how many people would get infected in the meantime?
If we cannot have baseball - or a Republican convention - how can we have schools?
Imagine rubbing Icy Hot all over your head to soothe a painful headache. Imagine your eyes in a bowl of water while you’re still seeing through them. Imagine collapsing and waking up in the ER only to find out COVID-19 attacked your central nervous system, and the doctor had just saved you from a stroke.
If that were the worst of it, it would be bad enough. But that’s not the worst of it.
This should be mandatory reading for everyone that believes COVID-19 is a hoax and their freedoms are more important than taking public health safety precautions.
It’s sad how many of these “never thought it would happen to me” stories we’ve seen and yet there’s still people who think virus = hoax and masks = tyranny
