Sinclair is the Fox News for the rubes who don’t have cable. They are, perhaps, more insidious because they blend their propaganda into their regular broadcast news, not as cable “opinion” shows like Fox.

He is currently working as an orderly in a hospital in Canada, caring for COVID patients. He says he wants to continue doing that, instead of risking spreading the disease by playing.
FTR, he wasn’t negative about the NFL’s procedures and safeguards; he said he’s sure that they will do everything they can to protect everyone involved.

Kudos to Laurent for seeing the bigger picture and realizing the value of helping others during this crisis. He has a good heart and a good head on his shoulders.

His political awakening or at least its manifestation here is equal parts welcome and unexpected, at least within the obviously limited parameters that define my own expectations.
By the way, after last night’s get together I’ve had that goddamn Jethro Tull song in my head. Fortunately I know where Neil lives and plan to send someone after him shortly. Also, I did end up wondering if David even knows who the hell Jethro Tull is.

Trump’s current (checks Twitter…yes, still current) National Security Advisor, Robert O’Brien, tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Lucky for Trump he doesn’t take security briefings.
O’Brien stayed home, but no one told his staff why, many of them learning the news from the press.
