Iām not arguing that it was a terrible at bat, Iām saying he walked up to the plate determined to hit the ball onto the train tracks rather than thinking he should hit the ball where itās pitched in order to drive in a run or two. Itās not complicated. And heās nowhere near alone in doing this.
