You work in mysterious ways.

It probably would be just you left but then this wouldn’t be an Astros forum anymore, might just become an ode to Brad Ausmus

Apropos to nothing, but when I lived in Midland, the local college held a punkin chunkin with trebuchets built by engineering students. We tailgated with grills and everything. It was a blast.

I’d pay good money to fire one of those bad boys off

Sounds like more fun than a little bit, as Bum would say.

How dare you, sir. HOW DARE YOU!

Ignorance, of course, which you should know better than most.

I oftentimes don’t know if I should ecstatic or concerned that MusicMan understands me so well.

Moderately useful link as there are no videos of either in action breaking things.

Trebuchet:

Catapult:

Not anymore, his wfw about Marisnick going into home plate years ago caused a breakup.

" The trebuchet can be considered to have enormous power to throw even a horse (around 200 kg plus) up to 500 meters."

Barbaric AND rad.

Must be one giant trebuchet

When in doubt:

Catapult = how the orcs launched boulders at Minas Tirith

Trebuchet = how the Gondorians launched the rubble of Minas Tirith back at them

I actually liked that movie. I think I’m the only one who did.

I gotta admit though, I liked The Postman, and Waterworld, and–and this is the worst of it–For Love of the Game.

Waterworld??? OMG. I thought that was the worst movie in the entire history of history.
