It will be interesting to see how that Bellinger deal works out. I could see him having a really good year in Wrigley.
I’m confused about the Boras comments. Are they in regards to a specific player the Astros are/were pursuing (I think Bellinger is the only one we know of) or just speaking in generalities?
No idea, but Boras has a couple of other guys I’m sure the Astros have checked in on (Nimmo, Conforto, maybe some others). Could just be calls to see if there’s a potential fit more than real negotiations on a given player.
I don’t know that I thought Bellinger would sign with us, but I did think it made a lot of sense. A year from now we’ve probably got a group of 2 to 3 kids that might be ready to help the big league club in centerfield. A one year deal would’ve fit pretty good with that.

He represents Tucker, I think.
Believe he represents Altuve, Bregman and McCullers as well. Maybe Crane is discussing a contract extension for Tucker.
