Dude has been on a wild ride this year. Baltimore to LAD to Atlanta to CHC to Houston, all since August.

Nice

Jacob deGrom has signed with the Rangers for five years at 185!

Wow!

Verlander’s bargaining position is just strengthened. The Mets are definitely going to be in on him now and really can’t afford to lose him.

MLB radio is reporting there is an option for a six-year that could take it up to around 220 million. They did not clarify if it was a player team or mutual option.

The state income tax was a factor but getting every October off was the big selling point.

The Rangers are trying to get better by spending a lot of money on free agents this year and last. Fuck them.

Oh, you read it. Must be true then.

I’m reading that the Astros have officially made Yuli an offer.

No word on amount or if he accepted it.

It would be nice if Yuli were the next in a long line of superb Astro utility men. He is worthy of the roster niche once held by the Great Bill Spiers.

What about Nimmo to play 1B as well as CF?

Just sharing what I know. However, I don’t need to read anything to know what an asshole you can be.

Ok, so maybe JV will get the $$$ and years!

Yes, I know I’m quoting myself but thought I needed to in light of deGrom news.

You do not “know” a damn thing; exactly what I know, which is nothing . You read somebody else say it and decided it has to be true.

An asshole, eh? Me? Glad I know people who do not think so.

If that were true, you would have had an empty post.

Maybe add one more name to the mix of CF options. Reynolds’ availability has been speculated on but hasn’t been clear. Up to the club whether they want to honor the request, of course.

Not sure we have the prospect mix to pull that off. They won’t be looking for someone like Urquidy, I would think
