The Inevitable What About The Inevitable You-Know-Who Thread Thread

While I wish, hope (and vote) for a future that looks like Star Trek, I find it very difficult to see how we do not end up in a future that looks like Mad Max.

I mean, right now, people are voting to install, as the most powerful person in the world, the current day iteration of Immortan Joe.

As far as I can tell, the venue for Harris’ rally in Houston is still tba.

I think it might have to be at NRG.

Holy fuck! Absolutely zero punches pulled in this Harris ad.

I think we all know that Harris is a fraud. She should have to drop out of the race like her current boss has to when he got caught plagiarizing.

When your campaign’s internal polling is giving you bad news and you start to panic:

The irony here is that abolishing a progressive income tax for a regressive sales tax sticks it to us working stiffs harder than the current system. Classic Trump: it sounds great if you don’t think about it too much but underneath it is really, really dumb.

Assume dotard will be calling for Foxnews to lose their license.

Nope. Because this country decided long ago to treat this man with kid gloves. He fucking complains so much and has unhinged followers that will act on those complaints with fervor. Just look at the repeated stories of folks supporting Harris “privately” due to the fear of reprisal if he wins.

It’s fucking absurd. I have respect for, and will listen to in the future, the republicans that have put the country and constitution before this fuck. The rest, I hope they spend their later years in shame and ridicule.

Kammaltoe keeps getting bad news on polls. I don’t think we will see much of her until the election. When she talks, her numbers go down. I’m sure her campaign managers are on to this trend and will make her hide out until the election.

This is great.

Reminds me of the greatest cold open in SNL history:

Save this graphic and whip it out any time someone says that we cannot get rid of the Electoral College because that will mean candidates will ignore middle America.

The Washington Post followed the L.A. Times in not endorsing a candidate. Cowardice or complicity, either way my subscription is cancelled.

WaPo’s editor has resigned. Same thing happened at the LA Times and the head of the editorial board resigned.

E-Lidell has donated $118 million to his Super PAC.

I’m sure he expects nothing in return.

Yeah, if you’re concerned about retribution on your other main businesses, maybe you shouldn’t own a newspaper.

All these billionaires supporting Trump figure they will be the favored oligarchs. That was likely felt by all the Russian ones also, long before they splattered on the pavement.

They’re supposed to be geniuses and great strategic thinkers, yet they will fall into line behind a dangerous loon.

It’s time people woke up to the fact that Trump isn’t the mastermind, he’s simply the useful idiot the oligarchs are using to facilitate their plans. He’s not Odysseus, he’s just the horse.

Here’s the non-shocking explanation

Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s just the go-between and not using his own money.

E-Lidell is a defense contractor and, presumably, has some level of security clearance.

This is a five-alarm fire.

Massive lines being reported at Dynamo Stadium (or whatever the fuck it’s called now).

Event starts at 7pm with Harris due on stage at around 8:30pm.

I read it’s at “Shell Energy Stadium” and wondered where the fuck that was? Is it in Houston?
