Can’t argue with that.

Hopefully the incompetence he plans to deploy in his second term will prevent him from winning a second term.

Trump is spouting nonsense and falling asleep at a sit down town hall today in Florida. He also seems to have abandoned the rust belt swing states (see above) save for E-Lindell’s PAC activity.

And Harris is campaigning in Texas.

Ignore the polls, watch the candidates. Where they are spending their time and money tells you where they feel they need to be. If Trump needs to be in Florida then the Trump campaign is worried about Florida. If Harris is coming to Texas, it means she thinks there is something to win here.

More simply: if the game is being played in your half of the field, you’re probably losing.

A taste of that Florida event:

We’ve all seen old people do this and it’s never a good thing.

Four years ago in the Oval Office, Trump had an f-bomb laden meltdown over the cost of a funeral for a murdered veteran (from Houston).

Trump became angry. “It doesn’t cost 60,000 bucks to bury a fucking Mexican!” He turned to his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and issued an order: “Don’t pay it!” Later that day, he was still agitated. “Can you believe it?” he said, according to a witness. “Fucking people, trying to rip me off.”

Oh, and then there is the whole “Hitler’s generals” thing. Although I’m kinda with him on that one because Hitler’s generals tried to frag him.

The Georgia GOP appealed the injunction against its election rat-fucking rule changes to the obviously very conservative Georgia Supreme Court, and requested an expedited appeal because they want the rules in place for this election.

The obviously very conservative Georgia Supreme Court told them to do one.

The new rules aren’t gone forever but, if Dems control government after this election, they’ve got at least two years to pass voting rights legislation (which should be the #1 priority, IMHO) and head this shit off at the pass.

I wonder if there’s room for a cot in the lawnmower shed down at the Four Seasons.

Agreed. Texas would already be a Democratic stronghold if it weren’t for rural towns throughout the state voting Republican. All of our major cities vote blue.

I understand where your daughter is coming from, but there are two choices this year. Either vote for Harris and continue to enjoy the freedoms which make America great, or vote for Trump and watch him do whatever it takes to turn America into an autocracy. It’s not a hard choice, and sometimes, you have to take one for the team.

They love President Trump in Pennsylvania.

He promised - in front of cameras - to pay for the funeral. They sent him the bill and he flipped out. The problem for Trump’s that every part of the story is completely credible.

Also, Gen. John Kelly has gone public calling Trump a fascist and otherwise outing him as a disgraceful human being. I hope this is not too late.

Voting was brisk at the Nottingham Park center this morning. Line was probably 50 yards out the door (with a bit of a theme park snake inside) but, with 60 machines, I was out within 20 mins of lining up.

I am pleased to report that candidates’ party affiliation is on the ballot, and is also shown on the printed form. I swear it was missing in 2022

Fun Fact: The “Vote Here” signage was in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. That should piss off Trumpers waiting in line.

Presumably, they would be fine with Russian signage.
