Well, the press did cover this. Not as much as they should, but they did. Also, I’ve come to the conclusion that part of the problem with press coverage is that Dems are so bad at politics. Every elected rep and pundit, when they’re on a non-MSNBC channel, should be pointing stuff like this out and loudly whining that the press doesn’t highlight it enough.
For example, the dude introducing Vance last week called for a civil war if the Republicans lose, bragging about how the bikers were on their side. It was chilling and shouldn’t be glossed over in a Democracy. That was barely covered, and I have seen virtually no Dems bring it up and/or demand that the press ask the Trump campaign to answer for it.

The crooked liberal media sugar coats everything to get the radical liberal view point out there to try to fool voters, which isn’t hard to do with some, unfortunately. People like Limey and several others here want a socialist government and there is nothing that can be done about that. Kamala is absolutely the person to vote for if you like socialism. They will believe anything the liberal media tells them.
There’s a balance to be struck between pointing out the dangers of electing the GOP - which is more than a full time job - and hammering home your own message.
I don’t know what that balance is, that’s for campaign experts to figure out, but I do appreciate the bluntness of Harris’ campaign which is a tonal shift from all that has gone before.

That statement is not the dig I think you think it is. It’s basically poorly written non specific rhetoric that will appeal to the democratic base just like the vast majority of what comes from the republican side. If either side wants to win over those on the margins, they will use a “he/she said this specific thing, what it means to America is this specifically and this is how we on the other side are different” methodology.

To me, it shows the intelligence level of the Democrat Party.
It’s been 7 days. 7 days that should’ve belonged to Trump coming off the convention and assassination attempt.
I don’t know if the polls are accurate, but what this does mean is that Trump is going to have to play defense in places he thought he had in the bag (and has not set up campaign infrastructure). That’s expensive - like lawyers - and he doesn’t have the money to pay both.
