Third vote for Speaker and Jordan is going backwards.

His last go around of 199 was a record for the fewest votes for the majority’s nominee. He’s going to set a new record today.

Jordan topped out at 194 today.

Some did, but not most.

The smart ones did. Washington, Hamilton, Madison…Jefferson not so much though, as he opposed a strong central government.

According to the musical, Hamilton and Madison were staunchly partisan.

Trump is in possession of IRREFUTIBLE EVIDENCE that will COMPLETELY EXONERATE him and prove the STOLEN ELECTION. Why would he not give it to his loyal friends and allies? It seems ungenerous.

I couldn’t understand a word of the musical. But Hamilton called political parties “the most fatal disease of popular governments”, and Madison wrote “one of the functions of a well constructed union should be its tendency to break and control the violence of faction.” That doesn’t mean they didn’t want to get their own way, however.

No. He pleaded guilty to a felony, but received only probation. He is required to testify truthfully - like Powell - to avoid revocation of the deal and spending time in the state pen.
