GOP Reps voting “no” on Jordan have been receiving threats to themselves and their families. As in, their families have been receiving threats directly.
The circle of trust will continue to shrink until they are all on the outside.
They literally do not know the difference between persuasion and coercion.

Jordan’s nomination talked about cutting Social Security, MedicAid and MediCare, and we know he has already introduced a federal abortion (and IVF) ban. What can he offer Reps in his caucus? That he’ll exempt their district from his horrific policies?

Don’t have these people in there if you’re not going to listen to them. This is such a complex situation as it has always been. But reverting to the status quo of good vs evil and nothing in between is pure folly.
So this guy stayed at his post while Trump polished Putin’s knob, fell in love with Kim Jong Un, abandoned the Kurds, collapsed the Iran nuclear deal, released 5,000 Taliban fighters (one of whom now leads Afghanistan), set a hard date for US withdrawal, invited the Taliban to Camp David over the weekend of 9/11, threatened NATO at every turn and sold weapons to the Saudis to use on the Yemenis…but this is a bridge too far?

Powell’s guilty plea to six counts of conspiracy to commit intentional interference with performance of election duties in the Georgia case comes a day before her trial was set to begin.
Powell will get six years’ probation, a $6,000 fine, $2,700 restitution to the state of Georgia, writing an apology letter to the citizens of Georgia and to testify truthfully at trial.
