The Inevitable What About The Inevitable You-Know-Who Thread Thread

You can only use a Sharpie on a NOAA hurricane map. Everyone knows this.

Now Limey knows how I feel when I comment on a play in the GZ and you guys see it 3 hours later.

How did Don Jr pay for that? I doubt that he’s got banks beating down his door for his business. And I would expect the banks to be pretty sensitive about inflated valuations at this point.

Jesus Christ! I Cabrerraed the shit out of Limey!

Sorry, Limey.

Junior owns the company that now owns MaL. Transfer wealth to dad, bankrupt “Jr. Inc.”, buy back MaL at big discount would be my guess.

Trump is already earning millions hocking merchandise with his mugshot on it. Everything is a grift of the suckers. This is no different, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Trump just swindled his son. Because that’s what he does.

I believe it is not uncommon to pass title to property for a $1. Inflated property sale in price would make an increase in value against the future tax price. Hence, tax free increase in value. I am not a lawyer. Others on here are I believe. A lawyer is good in the part of law he practices. A lot of different law fields.

This is as close to a coherent thought you’ve pretty much ever posted. Selling property to your heirs, either for a dollar, or at a significantly below-market value, is mostly symbolic. You don’t escape the tax associated with the market value. So, say your property is worth $500,000 and you sell it to your kid for $1, you’ve essentially gifted them $499,999, and you will pay tax on that at some point. Exemptions apply, of course, so you may be able to get away with not paying said tax, but the uncompensated value goes into the equation, same as if the property were inherited.

As for paying 17 times the market value…yes, I suppose it ups the basis of Jr.'s purchase, but that doesn’t offset the gross overpayment of market value. This is clearly about hiding assets from seizure, not about hedging against future tax increases.

Funny you guys talk about gibberish when you voted for this.

Trump is getting set to run. Most of his properties are so upside down that there’s no point in trying to keep them, so only those with anything close to positive equity will get “sold” to a friendly custodian.

Once safely established in his new, extradition-free home, MAL et al will be purchased by a Delaware-registered LLC that lists only one owner, “John Barron”.

And, if you don’t think he is going to run, think of this:

Option A: Stay and Face the Music

  • Multiple trials that will cost him a fortune as there is not enough PAC money to cover his bills.
  • Legitimate threats of incarceration.
  • His lawyers have told him he is going to be convicted.
  • Having to sit in court rooms on camera (in GA at least) where he cannot control how he looks and cannot react to what people are saying about him.
  • All of his efforts to rat fuck the investigations have failed (Smith even has the Secret Service emails - 3 million of them - including some between a senior service official and a leader of the Oath Keepers).
  • His is not allowed to say the 2020 election was stolen for fear of pre-trial incarceration.
  • He doesn’t want to be president again, he just wants free money and to not go to jail.

Option B: Flee to Russia

  • US authorities can’t touch him.
  • He can claim he had to flee because of “our” corrupt legal system.
  • He can rant about election fraud (and water pressure) all he likes in absentia.
  • He can collect donations from his cult without any of the US’ tricky “laws” and “taxes”.
  • He can slough off all his underwater properties without having to do an actual bankruptcy.
  • He can leave Melania behind and stiff her for whatever she was due from the renegotiated pre-nup.

It seems absurd, but it’s been one long Theater of the Absurd since the Carnival Barker came down that escalator, There is an absolute real possibility he will run. If he does, it can only be to Russia.

It is ok. Grown arse old man. All part for the course. We are amongst those who may disagree with us. By a landslide. Old enough to stand my ground. Makes me no better or worse. Just a mere difference of opinion.

You still buy the Russian interference garbage created by the Dems? We need a better education system. CRT is not it. I contacted Alice Cooper today. I told him your thoughts were great. But you lost the audience on curt vonnegat.[sp]

Why do you think he had such a Gollumesque need to keep his precious “stollen” documents? They were his bargaining chips to get safe haven somewhere. He might not have the originals any more, but there’s no way he doesn’t have copies; some are known to have been digitized and uploaded to a laptop.

I used to be of a mind that he wouldn’t accept the ignominy of running. Now I think that such ignominy is far the lesser of two “evils”, being that staying means facing the music for the first time ever. Once it dawned on me that running means that he can keep lying and playing the victim, I was totally sold on it.

Then he went and sold MAL.

It has been said that he can’t run because he has 24/7 Secret Service protection. That same Secret Service that tried to delete all its emails around Jan 6 and was in contact with the Oath Keepers? They’re going to “accidentally” leave the doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition.

Define CRT.

If only there was some indication you might not have come up through the US school system.

Waiting for you to define CRT.
