Texans 2023

Texans better tighten their shit up.

Officials, fuck them.

I saw #25 commit a stupid unnecessary roughness foul and just assumed it was Kareem Jackson, but I was wrong. Perhaps the number is simply cursed.

As the network was acknowledging their crew for NYE, it made me think that being one of these sporting event camerapeople must be one of the upper echelon cameraperson jobs.
Oh and fuck the Titans.

So what’s the idiot’s guide to the Texans making the playoffs?

Campbell said specifically that the player who caught it reported as eligible and the other did not. Video supports that: the receiver went to the referees, and the other never did.

Beat the Colts next week and they’re in. Beat the Colts and the Titans beat the Jags and the Texans win the division and host a playoff game. There’s not much fight left in the Titans, however.

Video supports that 58(?) and 68 both went to the official, then 70 wandered over.

(I can’t here the audio on this clip so if it’s stupid sorry)

Here’s Campbell. He says they both reported.

If the refs fucked it up so be it.

The refs fucked up. 70 reported the play before, so he doesn’t have to report again. Which is neither here not there as 68 clearly did and that’s all that matters. That much is obvious. Just a monumental fuckup or pay off to the officials that changed the outcome of an NFL game.

The league apparently agrees: that crew will not get a playoff assignment per Schefter.

Not just that game. Now that the Eagles gagged, we’re looking at Dallas hosting playoff games until the conference championship as opposed to going on the road for all of their games. Since they’re Jekyll and Hyde in home vs road games, that’s a huge swing.

Wah fucking wah

Playoffs or Bust

Yall ready?

I hate these late night west coast games.

The only guy who can beat you is Pittman. How can you just not cover him?

So that was a nice start for the offense.

Wow.

So far so good.

3rd and 1 run up the middle is the Texan kryptonite this season.

Why?

eta: why call it, I meant

Because O-line is not a people-moving machine.
