Texans 2021

Either way, they were repugnant.

10 years ago was 2011, not 1951.

I’m not excusing anything, all I was saying is that a lot of his shit was more recent than 10 years ago.

Not for losing to the Bears, but to get out of a contract. It doesn’t change the fact that he’s a repugnant POS, but you can bet that someone leaked those emails as a favor to Mark Davis.

So it sounds like the Texans coach just wanders around the sideline in some sort of fugue state for most of the game?

If that’s all it takes, can we at least hire someone more entertaining? Maybe like, Nic Cage?

So Whitney is gone now.

Is this a good move or a Texans move?

Good move, but why it wasn’t done in the offseason instead of reworking his contract so his dead money hits the cap next season instead of this one is a bit perplexing.

That’s something a competent and forward-looking GM would do, i.e., nobody who would ever willingly work in a McNair organization.

Easterby likely spotted what he perceived to be a kink in his moral character.

Anyways, no big loss for a one win team. I was just thinking on Sunday when they said he led the franchise in sacks, or some similar stat, that whatever stat is was didn’t reflect player value.

I was there last Sunday (as an oblige) and it was only about 2/3rds full with half of those being Pats fans. A shitty team and $15 Dos Equis will keep people away.

The vastly long waiting list for season tickets has all-but evaporated. They have destroyed the value of this franchise and I can see them moving at some point.

To wit:

Jerome Solomon of the Houston Chronicle writes that, in a matter of weeks, he has gone from 12,734 on the season-ticket waiting list to eligible to buy season tickets. Solomon passed.

“Hell would freeze over before I’d spend a nickel on Texans tickets this year,” Solomon explains.

And, for the coup de grits:

It’s amazing to think that, fewer than 17 months ago, the Texans held a 24-0 lead over the Chiefs in the playoffs. It’s been all downhill since then, the Texans possibly haven’t reached rock bottom.

They’re run by a bunch of clowns, and if they want to leave Houston, the good citizens of the city should help them pack.

Yeah, there’s a 0.000something chance of that happening

Good god the Texans destroyed the betting line in the 4Q, not sure where that came from other than the Rams emptied the bench

At kickoff it was 16.5. If you’d taken the Rams, you’d obviously be livid. Earlier in the week it was 14, 14.5, somewhere in that area.

16.5 is what I saw this morning

Our starters are better than their scrubs. I guess that puts the Texans somewhere in the middle.

I deleted my recording at 38-0. Three TDs, given the previous futility, is hard for me to imagine.

Well in that case you can make them as spectacular as you want in your mind. Knock yourself out.

THREE triple reverse flea flickers with Andre Johnson coming out of retirement to catch them all?! AMAZING!
