My season-ticket holding friend sent me this photo from Sunday’s game.
Why are so many people there?
He was in the Rams section then. It was pretty sparse. That was also probably the highest percentage of visiting team fans I’ve ever seen. Not because there were so many of them, but because there were so few Texans fans.
He’s had those tickets since Day #1. There must be a lot of seats held by ticket brokers in that section, because it’s always full of visiting fans.
Cheap tickets on the resale market. Vivid seats has tickets for the Jets game starting at $12.00. Twelve. That’s a 1 followed by a 2. For a NFL game.
Sounds like $13 too much.
That section, and the section right behind the visiting team bench is often full of visitors. This is not unique to the Texans either. When we go to road games, it’s typically a similar spot on the Texans side of the field.
You know how if you buy say a TV from Best Buy and a week later it goes on sale, you can show your receipt and get a refund for the difference…I may try that.
Texans are losing season ticket holders so fast they’re going to have their first non-sellout sometime this season.
Are we living in “Major League”?
Feel the excitement!
Texans displaying football stupidity previously thought unattainable. God job, coach.
I’m beginning to think that our rookie 3rd round unready/unqualified QB is not the real problem with this offense.
He’s not playing. The problem with the offense is they can’t run the ball, can’t pass the ball, cant get open, cant catch the ball, and can’t block. Other than that, it’s aces.
So you’re saying there’s a chance!
I was explaining to Mrs Hawk during the first drive how Taylor usually makes good decisions. He’s basically stomped his dick since then.
This is no sort of genius insight, but this year’s team is by some considerable margin the worst team in franchise history. It is far, far worse than the 2-14 team from 2005.
The delightful thing is, with this group of delusional idiots in charge, there is absolutely no path back from this.
That 2005 team was somewhat of a fluke. Last year’s 4-12 is the high mark for this current group of morons.
EDIT: I’m getting my 2-14 seasons mixed up. 2005 they were awful. The 2013 2-14 season was a bit of a fluke.
If this team goes 2-14 it’ll be a fucking miracle.
The Texans aren’t even on TV in the San Antonio broadcast area. When the Cowboys are hosting an AFC team they get top billing over the Texans.
Sounds like UT last night.
I’ll say this in fairness to the Texans…this may be the worst officiated game I’ve ever seen. There have been at least five critical phantom calls go against them so far.
