Yeah, I know he’s not playing. Thus my point that, despite what has been said elsewhere, Mills at QB is not the problem.
For some reason both games are Fox games…so of course Dallas gets the TV spot outside of Houston.
He’s an enormous problem. A monumental one. One that cannot be overcome. But he’s not the only one.
Yes he’s terrible. Tyrod is terrible. Everything about this offense, coaches included, is terrible.
And I still can’t understand why the hell they didn’t trade Brandin Cooks
Never did hear why this one is on Fox.
Mills is terrible but he’s one of the better rookie quarterbacks in the league this year, and most of them were drafted in the first round.
But as you say, he’s basically irrelevant to the team’s total ineptitude.
Anyway, I’m greatly looking forward to the team’s ticket and sponsorship revenue drying up and that fat mouthbreathing cultist freak having to either sell or move the team. The St Louis Texans does have a ring, don’t it?
If you’re serious about this then it’s clear you haven’t been paying attention. I’m not being a dick, there is zero reason for any normal person to pay attention to this team, hell, half the guys they suit up every week I’ve never heard of, but the team considers Cooks one of the high character outstanding leadership sort of guys they’re trying to build the team around. That’s why his public irritation with the Ingram trade was so entertaining - Cooks is supposed to be a total company man.
Hey I watched a team like that last night!
Oh I did love the “he’s a player we want to build around” bullshit, which is comical considering where this team is at and where he is career-wise.
I know why the Texans didn’t do it, and it makes just as much sense as anything else they do.
You don’t build around Brandin Cooks. But he’s not awful. He’s a serviceable receiver on a competent team.
He’s 30 years old and has had six concussions. So I am afraid you are very mistaken. If you’re the Texans, he is precisely the sort of player you build around.
I don’t know that they want to build around him, but they expect him to be an example for some of the young guys. It’s tough times…you’re gonna be the number one guy here, which you’d never be anywhere else, but we need you to be a professional, help hold some of the young guys together through hard times.
I’d rather have a 3/4/5th round pick
I’ll give credit to Lovie Smith, even though I’m not crazy about his defensive scheme: his gang of no-names play their asses off until they inevitably get worn out due to offensive incompetence.
The defense has forced five turnovers. The offense has scored nine points.
This team is not gonna win another game unless the defense scores at least 21 points.
I wasn’t talking about the D just this week. They’ve been competitive most games, for a while.
Remember the wayback Steelers game when we had under 50 yards of offense and won by 3 TDs?
That’s what it’ll take every week.
The Jags are going to win. Hilarious.
This team is worse than the 2002 expansion team. There’s no argument otherwise.
This is the second worse team in NFL history. And not by much.
