It’s nice to see a semblance of normalcy during these trying times.
BOB’s the GM. McNair gave him the job.
BoB and Hopkins didn’t get along. Sound familiar?
If BOB walked out tomorrow and encouraged everyone to crowd together and lick each other’s palms, McNair would put him in charge of the medical staff.
It’s one thing to trade one of the best and most popular players, it’s another level of stupidity to get fleeced like that.
He’s managed to trade Clowney and Hopkins and not get a single 1st round pick in return.
Bobsters Millions?
If you are going to remain a fan of the Texans after this debacle of a trade, more power to you. I can’t do it. I wish the NFL had suspended their operations indefinitely like every other professional sports league, but that would have only delayed the inevitable.
I typically take all this sports shit in stride, but this is legitimately infuriating. David Johnson has negative value at this point in his career when factoring in that he’s owed $10MM/year. He’s the third best running back on his former team, even when healthy. Also, he’s 28 years old. Apparently BOB has done less research on the aging curve of NFL running backs than your average middle school fantasy football manager.
BOB has to be the stupidest motherfucker in all of sports. How in fuck’s sake do you convince yourself to pay two first round picks and a second round pick for a very good left tackle with limited contractual term remaining and also trade your multi-time, all-pro ,star wide receiver on a reasonable, long-term contract and not receive one measly first round pick in return? BOB may have a sphincter for a chin and a brain, but he should be able to compare those two situations. Anyone with a scintilla of football sense and a pair of eyes could tell how great of a receiver Hopkins is and that the Texans were at their best when DeShaun started to ignore all of the GREAT OFFENSIVE MIND’s shitty schemes and just threw the ball to Hop late in games when trying to claw back after the GENIUS’S SACRED OFFENSIVE TABLET OF SCROLLS produced dick in the first quarter of every game this season, making the team perpetually behind on the scoreboard.
Arizona’s front office must have been hyperventilating they were laughing so hard during the negotiations. BOB thinks he’s all sack and grittiness, but he’s a clueless little bitch that has made it way to far in life based on bluster, walking in Tom Brady’s crop dust, and feigned intelligence and football chops by virtue of obtaining a college roster spot on a football team would have been better equipped competing in ultimate frisbee at Brown, which barely qualifies as an Ivy or an institution of higher learning and will allow you to major in the effects of Jenga on social organization in a post-modern world or patriarchy reinforcement as manifested in gaming: musings on a feminism denied as seen through the eyes of Princess Peach.
OBJ: Traded by Giants to Browns for 2019 1st round pick (17th overall), 2019 3rd round pick (95th overall), and Jabrill Peppers.
And the Raiders got a first-round pick for Amari Cooper.
GMS are kicking themselves for not getting there first, but will be throwing Bob all sorts of stupid offers
I’m waiting to see what BOB gets for Watson. I’m sure it will be interesting.
Ryan Fitzpatrick and a 3rd, only if he’s willing to swap 5ths though — who says no? Not BOB.
The #Vikings have traded WR Stefon Diggs and a seventh-round pick to the #Bills for a first-round pick, a fifth-round pick, a sixth-round pick and a fourth-round pick in 2021, source said.
The Vikings just got a first, sixth, and seventh for Stefon freaking Diggs from the Bills.
BOB makes Purpura look like Luhnow.
This has to be some setup for “Punk’d”, right?
Apparently the Nexans just signed Randall Cobb to a three year deal. Hard to make this stuff up.
At this point, I’m kind of surprised it wasn’t Tex Cobb.
