I guess it was fun to think about for a few minutes.

Embarrassment
I’m just glad they came back in the first half and not the 4th quarter. Less crushing.
Defense gave up 41 points in about 12 minutes. I guess I’m glad they weren’t the last 12
Down three touchdowns and Watson is milking the clock like he’s up by three.
That was asembarrassing as any Houston sports team has ever embarrassed themselves.
I’m so glad I missed that.
At the beginning of the season, I predicted they’d go 5-11. So I guess I should be happy they made it to the second round of the playoffs. At least that’s what I’m telling myself.
I will be out of the country on Super Bowl Sunday, and I briefly convinced myself there was a realistic chance I’d miss the Texans in their first. I was young and naïve then, Senator.
I wonder if, somewhere, Frank Reich chuckled.
One thing I didn’t expect before this weekend was that the Saints would be a distant third (so far) in the ‘most horrific end to an NFL season’ competition.
BOB and McNairs are going to delude themselves into thinking that the team is on the verge of winning the AFC. The reality is that the team had its teeth totally kicked in despite being given two TD gifts in the first quarter. The team has some pieces to build on, but the organization mortgaged its near future to go “all in” for this year, which ended in this total annihilation.
For a fleeting moment of weakness, I contemplated what it might be like to attend the AFC championship game at NRG and how I might alter my typical pre-game activities. What’s the correct amount of tailgating time for such an event? What might my drink of choice be for such a critical affair? Would there really be an abundance of attendees there in Vince Young jerseys? It all feels so, so long ago now. I’m wisened and wizened.
The Texans aren’t going to win anything of significance with Bill O’Brien around. He’s not a good enough head coach and even worse as a general manager. That fake punt from the Texans 35 when they were up 17 and the Chiefs had just scored their first touchdown was the dumbest coaching decision he’s made as Texans’ head coach (saying a lot) and one of the worst in NFL history.
If the McNair’s had any guts, O’Brien and the entire staff would get their walking papers first thing tomorrow morning.
BOB is genuinely not bright. If he was a POC, he would be fired, as his choking is now an established and ingrained attribute. BOB’s defenders will point to Andy Reid, of course. But the difference is, Reid is bright and BOB is not. It’s a big difference. It can’t be “coached into you,” brainpower.
In a remarkable job of throwing the baby out instead of the bath water, the Texans have replaced Romeo Crennel with Anthony Weaver
BOB stepping down from play-calling duties.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA
BOB just traded Nuk and a 4th rounder to Arizona for David Johnson, a 2nd rounder, and a 2021 4th rounder.
Why? He was the best thing about the Texans over the recent past. My appreciation of him grew year after year.
FUCK. Is this BOB or McNair? I guess it’s probably both.
