I’m not saying that people hate this deal, but there’s a meme going around that likens BOB to the coronavirus.
“What are the only two things that can stop Houstonians from going to Texans games?”
When assessing the rationale behind assembling a WR corp comprised of Fuller, Cobb, Keke, and Stills, BOB seems to be valuing WRs based on their bodily composition percentage of glass. Perhaps he expects these men to be the leaders of the squad during a time when heeding medical advice, quarantining, and not playing football should be priorities for all.

ANY season ticket holders that re-up are really no different than Dallas Cowboy season ticket holders. They are telling the ownership that they don’t care about the quality of product and are happy to continue to support underachievement and bumbling management. It’s like they all have some weird form of Stockholm Syndrome. Gluttons for punishment. Masochism on parade. I understand the desire to watch professional football on location but the price Texan fans pay is way more than just money. They also pay with their dignity, rationality, and humility. I don’t mean to insult anyone, it’s just the way it is.
It saddens me that BOB can get away with being so incompetent. Nay, not just get away with it but rewarded for it.
So…Michael Irvin related a phone conversation he had with Hopkins yesterday:
BoB apparently did not like the heavy influence Hopkins had in the locker room. Called him into his office and led off with “Last time I had to have a meeting like this was with Aaron Hernandez.” Later he complained to Hopkins that he had his baby mamas around too much.
I can only imagine that Hopkins said “thank you for getting me out of this dysfunctional organization” on his way out the door.
Can we just pause and reflect on Michael Irvin, who played for BARRY SWITZER, calling a coach out on how screwed up his leadership is?
That bootlegger’s son was five times the coach that BOB is.
At least one potential DB free agent has allegedly told the Texans “no thanks” after asking former defensive players about BOB.
You know the world is totally off its goddamn axis when Sphinx is suddenly the voice of reason.

BOB seems to have no problems with Uppity white boys.
Before I saw the post you were replying to, I thought you were alluding to Glanville…
My brother-in-law and my wife were discussing an offer they’ve received for a piece of land, and he said “I don’t want to O’Brien this and not get enough in return”.
I was talking to my pet’s veterinarian and he said my dog’s O’Brien gland needed expressing.
The Texans emailed to notify that they will not be charging season ticket holders the monthly payment this month in light of the COVID-19 situation. Obviously, they still plan to charge season ticket holders next month and then continue on from there.
This move is purely motivated by self-interest: the organization knows that it’s a risk to charge customers after all the shitty news in tough financial times.
