Not as good a defender, you don’t want Wade in CF but a better hitter for sure

Wade?

Lamont, the guy who runs the junk shop.

I’m pretty sure that among the 1300 channels offered by modern tv packages there’s a classic sitcom channel.

This is why my lady friend has Spectum Cable/Internet.

The Hallmark Channels

Wade activated and starting in LF tonight for the Astros. Cole optioned to AAA.

Joey Loperfido activated off the IL but optioned to AAA.

Cesar Salazar DFA, Collin Price called up for his MLB debut. Price was a 6th round pick in 2022. Awfully tall for a catcher at 6’4".

Looks like he is starting in left and hitting fifth. Also Collin Price catching. Haven’t seen the corresponding roster moves.

I think they had a 40-man spot open already, so no more moves need to happen for the roster to be legal

you gotta be shitting me?

Loperfido activated and optioned to AAA
Wade activated and Cole optioned to AAA
Price purchased and Salazar DFA’d

Rhylan Thomas DFA’d for Wade or Price’s 40 man spot

According to “my friend”

Salazar is a hard worker and very well liked in the clubhouse but some of the pitchers didn’t like throwing to him.

Also the Astros are using a “cut tennis ball” on the end of the bat to improve his launch angle but he is having difficulty overriding old muscle memory and building new muscle memory.

I don’t understand the Salazar move, unless Price can pitch as well as catch.

Something that I have been keeping track of even though it doesn’t really matter, I just find it interesting

Tonight, Price and Wade will be 48th and 49th players to play for the 2026 Astros. That will put this years team at 6th in Astros history passing 1965, 2010 and 2014, all with 48

The record is, of course, last season.

2025 - 60
2024 - 55
2021 - 52
2013 - 50
2012 - 50
2026 - 49(after tonight)

Salazar isn’t a big league player, he was never meant to be anything more than depth.

Is Price a big league player? Probably not, I guess we’ll find out. He should hit better than Salazar, I don’t know how his defense grades but at least he has options, so they can stop doing the dfa dance every time they need a catcher

He can’t be worse behind the plate, right?

Hope that big dummy can hit

If any of you knew “Rhylan Thomas” even existed, I tip my cap.
