Whopper
I once worked with a guy whose first name was āJuniorā. Itās not uncommon in North Carolina among people of a certain age.
Now that I did not know was a thing. Ump was in the right then.
The little blonde midget did kinda go off, and that was amusing
My grandfathers name is James Junior. Not James Jr, although he is that too, but James Junior. His brother was also named James, and his other brother too. They all went by their middle names, Earl, Junior and I forget that last one because he died young. Iām just about the only male on my dads side of the family not named James
Astros outscored 30-9 in this series. They split 2-2.
It was like WWE, he would get corralled and then bust loose and charge back towards the ump. Grabbed one of his coaches arm and said let me at him!
I was properly entertained.
Iād like to see that guy and Rex Hudler from 20 years ago in cage/thunderdome type situation
What a thoroughly entertaining win. I was on the edge of my āseatā the whole game. It was a great game to experience on the radio too. An old-time Astros win while I got to smoke a cigar, drink a beer and do this:
Nice! Thatās beautiful
Only thing I donāt see is a rock-rimmed fire pit and some relaxation chairs
My dads side of my family has about 10 Jamesā with only one actually going by James. Come to think of it, I donāt even know what his middle name is. Iām very thankful my parents decided to break that particular trend.
Lovely.
You are the only Doyce Iāve ever known.
Funny you say that. Sitting by the fire pit as we speak. Have not had the first fire in it yet for the season so the wild raspberry plants have taken over. They die a fiery death each year when we use it for the first time.
You, sir, have your shit figured out.
Itās June and itās not fire pit season yet? Thatās messed up.
Itās Vermont.
Thatās in Canada, right?
This is the place in Maryland. I only have one kid here and he is not an outdoor person much. When I am here working in DC, I am working 15 hour days and then just coming home and crashing. Weāll have all the kids over in a few weeks and the place will get the use that it deserves!
When I left Vermont yesterday to fly down, it was 48°F at 4 PM. Spring is really just starting up there. Which is mind-boggling.
