Tapping the helmet is apparently a trigger for umps.
He went out to tell him that he couldn’t ask for a review, that’s not a thing at this level.
The players were warned before the start of the season that tapping the helmet would be an auto ejection

It’s against the rules. So yeah…
I could see a guy new to the majors screwing that up, but Walls hasn’t spent any real time in the minors for a couple of years now. He oughta know better.
