I’m OK with that approach. I find myself unable to get over my 7 decades of Yankee hate. The Dodgers just can’t compete on that level.

Very different play, but reminds me of Bregman-to-McCann to get Greg Bird in ‘17. Something about a Yankee lumbering down the line nabbed by a perfect throw and tag.

I am actually watching the game. Much to my surprise. In a hotel room and have the TV on as background noise. I have decided that I dislike the Dodgers a little bit less than the Yankees so it’s OK for them to sweep the Yankees.

I haven’t watched one pitch of any of this and do not feel any remorse.
I am however watching the Giants play a sport that in certain respects resembles football and I am having some regrets on that front.

Was watching the last 6-7 innings with my nephew.
Wow. What a perfect throw by Teoscar earlier. The momentum of the ball finished the tag. Hard to imagine a better throw.
Dead-cat bounce for Yankees as Verdugo hits a two-out, two-strike, two-run homer in the bottom of the 9th, but Torres finishes the job with a ground-out to end the game.
