I was a Brooklyn Dodgers fan until the move to LA, and like Bob, my hatred of NYY cannot be overcome by recent LAD transgressions. If LA finishes the sweep, I will be pleased.

I 95% didn’t care about this series and was only 2.5000000001% rooting for the Yankees, but either way I think a sweep is the best and most hilarious outcome. Bring it on.

The internet gifted me a few clips from the live game-watch party at Jomboy headquarters. Their horror and disgust as Stanton was waved home, lumbered around 3rd, and was gunned down at the plate was deeeeeelicious.

Also, I saw several videos of NYY fans being complete dicks to Dodgers fans as they entered Yankee Stadium: “IT’S A DIFFERENT GAME NOW THAT YOUR IN NEW YAWK!”
I hope those guys had a good cry in to their anime character body pillows in their 4k a month apartments after the game.

Before the series I was leaning Yankees. Then Cashman started choking on the sour grapes he’s been chewing on for 7 years, and that swayed me into favoring the hated Dodgers.

I haven’t watched a minute of this series. That doesn’t mean I don’t know what’s going on. Sat down at my bar and said, “Can you please take it off of the Golf Channel and put it on the…sigh…World Series. It’s 7:15. Promptly thereafter Freeman goes yard. Dude is a MOFO hitter.
