Did Augusta National refuse forever to allow coverage of the front 9 because it sounds like it runs alongside I-10?
Number 5 runs along some big road. And drive to the front entrance is along some hideous shopping avenue that is just about the complete opposite of the image of tranquility that Masters tries so hard to project. It’s all a striking contrast.

I used to play with a friend who had such a consistent slice when he teed off with a driver, that he would stand half way to his left at 10 o:clock. Always made me nervous.
