Inevitable You-Know-Who Thread

Someone on Twitter was saying that this is proof that Tucker can do his job without his bias getting in the way, and that the people at CNN could learn something from that. Truly some galaxy-brain level thinking there.

From Hudson’s link:

“We’re all pretending we’ve got a lot to show for it, because admitting what a disaster it’s been is too tough to digest. But come on. There isn’t really an upside to Trump.”

“We are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights. I truly can’t wait.”

Tucker Carlson

He was glad that Trump lost and was finally going to be gone. The irony is that he helped keep Trump in the news by pushing the election conspiracy nonsense.

The head of the Capitol Police let rip on Tucker’s efforts to retcon the Jan 6 insurrection:

McConnell held up a copy of the memo to news cameras and said he agreed completely.

McCarthy said he hadn’t watched it.

This is happening right now.

Ivanka Kushner has never even heard of anyone called “Trump”.

That was ridiculous. They both looked stupid af.

I think the guy asking the questions was perfectly sensible.

I thought he confused sexual orientation with sex from the start and called her “Lady” the whole time. I thought I was watching a takeaway from Idiocracy.

The “lady” thing was weird and most charitably I assume it’s a weird Missouri legislative tradition, but noting that a woman was married to a man is very much a comment on sexual orientation.

I’m sure you’re right about “Lady.” I feel less certain about the orientation thing, but I also feel utterly exhausted with and terrified by that entire conversation, so I’ll see myself out.

The man (gentleman?) apparently is a gay Republican which at this point in our collective evolution it seems like really should not exist.

It’s weird. But I suspect there are several more who won’t admit it, maybe a few others with certain fantasies.

In retrospect it’s clear that I needed to specify out Republicans.

It’s been a while since we’ve had some pukka finding out news…

She admitted making “misrepresentations” about Trump winning the election, and did so with a “reckless state of mind”. That reads to me that she lied without giving a fuck.

I don’t know what censure means for a lawyer, but I doubt it looks good on a resume.

Can’t be much worse than “former lawyer for Donald Trump”

Except that you can probably leave that one off if you want. Not so much with the other.

Time to resurrect the Circuit City grift.

BREAKING NEWS: Man convicted of crimes committed while trying to negate an election where he didn’t like the result is trying to negate a conviction where he doesn’t like the result.

Gym is such a petulant child, and I love how Plaskett handles him as such.

The cherry on top being who the first witness is. Unserious doesn’t even come close to describing this nonsense.

I’ve honestly forgot what the “twitter files” is all about. Those motherfuckers cry wolf so often, I’m numb to their outrage and warnings of doom. I suspect many people are.
