I couldn’t agree more. I hate the level of political discourse today. You have seen it here. I am barraged with ad hominem attacks that large on insults but lacking in substance. I have a few liberal friends, and we have wonderful discussions about these issues. We disagree without being disagreeable. I like that and miss it.

And by the way, I don’t even like Biden or that his son makes money off his name. All that is independent of this fake issue that Biden did something wrong in relation to this Ukrainian prosecutor. Only the misinformed and gullible buy and perpetuate that.

Dude, there’s just no arguing with a person who, with a straight face, explains that they pulled the lever for Trump because they couldn’t tolerate pulling it for a “dissembling elite.”
I just hope that we as a country someday decide, and not too terribly far in the future, to become a few different countries. We are ungovernably large, and crammed with people who despise each other.

Sure. Why not? When Clinton was president the Right was disgusted by his peccadilloes but turn a blind eye to Trumps’ own, which disgusts the Left. Both sides are full of a bunch of hypocrites that are swept up in cults of personality. The more access to information expands the worse it gets. It is as naive to think that Nixon was our first crooked president because he got caught as it is to think that the Astros were the first team to cheat because they got caught.
I still say our similarities are greater than our differences and there are plenty good people on the left and right.

The GOP claims to support virtually all of those policy positions, despite being objectively terrible at most of them. Yesterday you criticized a Republican House rep for leaving his party and for voting to impeach a Republican president. At least own who you are.

What, are you trying to be cute? This propaganda is posted to say “look, Biden withheld money for corrupt reasons (to prevent prosecution of his corrupt son)” or to provide fuel for those that say “see, Trump is just doing what Biden did.”
The prosecutor that needed to be fired was no longer investigating Burisma, and the push to fire him was American policy, supported by Republicans. That’s why you see him fucking talking about in a public event, because there is nothing to hide.

There’s nothing misleading about what Biden said in the video. The narrative that precedes the video is full of disinformation, from identifying the wrong year (the vice president in 2006 was Dick Cheney) to including the notion that Shokin’s investigation of Burisma or Joe Biden’s actions in 2016 had anything to do with Hunter Biden. Shokin was removed because he failed to pursue investigations of corruptions at the urging not only of Joe Biden, but the US government, all of Europe, the International Monetary Fund, and multiple international organizations. Contrary to Trump’s description of him in his phone call with Zollensky, Shokin was not a “very good prosecutor.” He was corrupt and the free world demanded his removal. That is also the difference between actual foreign policy and extorting foreign governments to help you personally.

You’re right, I honestly didn’t even read what was printed after the video. Just what was said by Biden. That administration obviously withheld money for a favor. Last time I checked, Ukraine received their aid from the current administration.
