Inevitable You-Know-Who Thread

For a candidate already way down in the polls and campaigning only via Fox News appearances, this is going to hurt.

They have him on tape.

The most amazing thing about trickle down economics, is that they didn’t even pretend that it did anything. They never missed a drop. Nothing trickled down.

Elissa Slotkin carpet-bombing with truth.

It’s just math, people.

The findoutitude is directly proportional to the fuckarounditude.

Brexit Update: Liz Truss did a series of interviews on regional radio stations this morning, and the term “Trussterfuck” was born.

Have the puppetmasters decided that an implosion is unavoidable, and she was just selected to be the face of it?

It’s what happens when a party that has eschewed and decried knowledge and ability in favor of fucking around, finds out.

Ooh look. People who engage in a business venture with Trump end up in financial peril because they’re not getting paid. Shocker.

If you missed it earlier this week: Trump’s legal team was charged by the Special Master they threw a shit-fit over having with finding a firm to digitize and organize the documents seized in the search of Mar-a-Lago. They couldn’t find a one who would agree to do it for them.

At least some people are starting to learn.

One part of the QOP/right’s wet dream for years was to flood the courts on several levels with their pet federalist society judges so as to be the very thing these hypocritical asshats abhor- activist judges to do their bidding and help unravel the post-WWII liberal democracy we’ve had.
Well done, dickfaces.

Brexit Update:

Is there some sort of UK Economy for Dummies that can catch me up on what’s going on over there? Most of what I’ve read has been “Brexit bad, Johnson bad, Truss worse” but provides little context.

Truss’ new cabinet came out with a “mini-budget” - basically a set of new fiscal policies - that doubled-down on the already failed austerity pricinples while including massive giveaways to “job creators”. The international money markets saw it for the disaster that it will be, and all-but crashed the currency.

Then there’s the contrarian view:

Set your DVRs.

This isn’t a debate. It’s a side-by-side interview. What a ridiculous format.
