Trump says he’s not going to object to releasing the warrant and the documents manifest, that it will show it was all a big nothing burger. Well, he posted that last night on his Truth platform at about 1:00 in the morning when his lawyers couldn’t gag him. We’ll see today.
On a side note…I guess it’s too much to hope Trump learns to spell and use an apostrophe.

And now someone has stabbed Salman Rushdie in the neck at a publicity event he was doing. Rushdie’s status is currently unknown, which leads me to fear the worst.

TrumpWorld has already moved on to the “he did it…so what?” phase of the deflection. An official statement this morning admitted there were classified materials amongst what was recovered by the FBI.
Meanwhile, the WP is reporting that the classified stuff was “Top Secret Sensitive Compartmentalized Information” which, in TrumpSpeak, means “the highest level of special”. It’s material that includes sources and methods, and it is only to be accessed in a SCIF.
Mar-a-Lago isn’t a SCIF; it’s a sieve.
That 10 step deflection process (or however many it was) is being worked to perfection. I am impressed by how well they have that machine lubed and operating. They are on step four or whatever it is already and it’s only been a week. Think, for a moment, how readily the base accepts something that would have been a once in a decade political crisis 20 short years ago.

The thing that’s different here is how fast they are having to run through the steps. I don’t know if that will make a difference, but the speed will make it harder for the elements of the RWNM to be in its customary goose lockstep.
Color me surprised; the docs are out. The first thing to leap off the page is that one of the statues Trump is suspected of violating is 18 USC 793, which is about mishandling/losing defense documents. Oh, and the recovery of TSSCI material is confirmed.
So Trump is guilty as charged, which is why they had to rush to the “so what?” step.

I keep thinking this asshole will finally at least….not say anything, but no, he doubles down every time.
We’re such a diverse district, at least the Ft Bend part, that I hope we can retire that fucker. He’s such a piece of shit. But he’s a republican AND a sheriff so I guess that’s redundant.

They gerrymandered the district all the way down past Wharton, moved most of the democrats to Lizzie Fletcher’s district, AND this is the best part, it appears the Democratic primary winner has no intention of trying to put on a campaign, let alone win. that’s sad. Democrats could do so much better in Texas if they just tried a little bit. Hopefully Beto will do well and wake up the national party…hahahaha…
I wonder what percentage of the South Asians in the district are US citizens and thus eligible to vote. It might occur to someone to run a young, very smart, appealing looking (male or female) South Asian at some point and at least make these pigfuckers spend some money on the race.
