If it’s the FBI, it’s nothing to do with the investigations into his business. It has to be the DOJ looking into Jan 6. It’s hard to imagine what he might have there, considering his entire career pre-Apprentice was mob-adjacent, which is how he learned to avoid paper and, later, email, and always talk in non-specific terms when people are listening.
Maybe there are more boxes of classified stuff. Maybe records of his Russian money laundering. Maybe he has half the White House silverware. Honestly, whatever it is will be shocking but not surprising.
Shocking but not surprising is sort of the ongoing theme with this guy.

That search warrant has got to be tight as a drum. No judge signs a search warrant for a former President without absolute justification.

No doubt, and I bet it’s a search for more than some random documents wanted by the National Archives for completeness sake. The documents were likely important for some reason, either security related or criminal coverup. Hell, with Trump, he might have been selling them. Nothing would surprise me.

This is idiotically obvious but I’ll say it anyway, these are people who assume that the law exists to punish black people, brown people, and poor people of all kinds, and is certainly not meant to define limits on anything they themselves might wish to be doing.
It’s pretty funny to me that these same people are pearl clutching about the hiring of new IRS agents. The IRS is supposed to be hounding poor people who inflate their income to receive more earned income tax credit, and is certainly not supposed to be ensuring that wealthy people pay the taxes they owe.
It’s amazing to me that a certain group of people see white people’s relative size, their (our) influence on society and their political power in an irreversible downtrend and their reaction isn’t Cool, we’ll have a more pluralistic society, no, it’s Welp, fascism it is, then.

I want to know what the search warrant says. If it’s such a “nothing burger” fabrication as Trump says it is, he could release it to the public to prove his point.
