Not true. There have been a lot of noodle-armed central gardeners through the years - often speedy on-base types, of course.
Well I always cringed when there was a man on base and there was a ball hit towards center field when Biggio played there.

Arenado Career, anywhere else: OPS .795 (which would be tied for 527th all time with Lenny Dykstra)
Unfortunately for the Cardinals, Arenado will not be playing in Coors at Busch.

Did anyone ever get around to proving that speculated-about Coors effect, in which Rockies are worse away and better at home than in reality they are?

I’ve heard it speculated that Rockies do worse on the road than non-Rockies—basically that Coors exaggerates both tendencies. Which would suggest that former Rockies revert to a truer mean.
