Goldstein responded. Priceless.
Is Roy Kent from Ted Lasso CGI? You know what, I buy it - The Verge
The “actor” Brett Goldstein has addressed the conspiracy theory that Ted Lasso’s Roy Kent is a CGI creation head-on by publishing a statement on Instagram. In it, Goldstein notes (quite accurately) that “there’s a fucking load of mad shit happening on the internet today, as usual” before reassuring viewers that he is “a completely real normal human man” who does “normal human basic things like rendering and buffering and transferring data.”

Eat your Wheaties before embarking on this week’s extended episode of Ted Lasso. It puts your feels through a two-a-day.

Oh, and Mike Dean is - and always has been - a grandstanding cock.

I saw the act of watching an episode called “Lassoing” and now can’t call it anything else.

Reason number 100 why Roy Kent is one of my all-time favorite TV characters.

Phoebe’s Teacher: Can I start with a quick personal question, Phoebe’s dad?

Roy: Oh, he’s a piece of shit.

Phoebe’s Teacher: Is he alive.

Roy: Sorry, yeah, he’s a living piece of shit…

Phoebe’s Teacher: Right. Well coach Kent, we’ve got a bit of an issue with Phoebe’s behavior.

Roy: Let’s have it.

Phoebe’s Teacher: She’d been swearing. A lot.

Roy: How Bad is it?

Phoebe’s Teacher: Today she called one of her classmates a pathetic shitfucker.

Roy: Are they?

Phoebe’s Teacher: Oh yes, but that’s not the point. Do you have any idea where she might be getting this from?

Roy: (shakes his head no)

Phoebe’s Teacher: (nods accusingly towards Roy)

Roy: (cocks and eyebrow and points to himself) Me?

Phoebe’s Teacher: (nods again) Huh.

Roy: Fuuuuuucccckkkk…

I never watched Game of Thrones but does Hannah Waddington get naked on it? Asking for a friend.

Very, very much not.

I guess he’ll continue to keep it at a lower priority.

She plays a nun. A very uptight nun.

That’s a…shame?

Watched it again. Same moments get you again, but I missed the “Do it for Earl” t-shirt first go.

This show is so brilliantly crafted. Nothing is by accident and the attention to detail is unparalleled.

I do still want to know why fear is like underwear. Maybe we’ll find out in Season 3, the same way we had to wait a season to find out what a British owl says.

Apparently each season will just punch you in the gut on Ep 8.

I just caught up on Mythic Quest. Maybe my favorite show in recent times. Completely lost my shit at this scene:

I’m not sure what to think about this week’s Ted Lasso. Curious to hear everyone’s comments.

I had exactly the same reaction. It was good to be exploring Beard’s situation, but I’m not sure what we learned or even what they were trying to say.

Also, did he really make that jump? I ran it back and watched it again, and I didn’t see a cut.
