With all these new, important to things to do I’m worried I won’t be able to find time to sun my perineum.
Outstanding points, everyone. I’m off to get my nads tanned and then I’ll try to get in a sword fight with a body builder. Maybe down a couple of pints of unpasteurized buffalo milk.
Well I just figured out what I want for my birthday!
HOF-turn to this usually ghoulish thread.
I wasn’t entirely sure so I googled perineum. On my work computer. I’m expecting a call from SecOps in 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…
That’s what the bleach you’re not drinking is for.
OK, I googled Red Light Therapy to try to find a funny picture to send my wife, and instead Google showed me a map of the city with all the tanning salons that offer it!
I mean, my 60th birthday is coming up … now I kind of want to do it.
For science. And my old balls.
Just for context, the most popular TV show in the future of “Idiocracy” was “Ow My Balls”.
'Taint necessarily so.
“Idiocracy” is my favorite documentary!
“And the #1 movie in the country was called “Ass.” And that’s all it was for 90 minutes. It won eight Oscars that year, including best screenplay.”
It’s got what plants crave.
When it came out it was a madcap / light-hearted comedy set in the future. Now, it looks like a best case scenario.
Something I missed, sorry if previously posted: there’s an effective preventative medication specifically for immunocompromised people and people who’ve had severe reactions to the vaccine. I fall into both categories so I’ll see about getting this and report back.
I’m traveling to the UK next month (the first of two COVID-postponed weddings), so I looked into getting a 2nd booster shot. Walgreens says I’m not eligible until April 2023; that doesn’t sound right.
Quit telling everyone you’re only 30.
Isn’t it 4 months from your 3rd shot, or first booster?
Correct, which I am. I had initially tried to book on their website, which is where I got the 2023 message. I decided to try over the phone, and had to fight through their idiotic AI system to get to a real person, after which I was scheduled within a minute.
I know “scaremongering” about oligarchy is often scoffed at, but just think about your interactions with the huge corporations that we have to deal with every day. Walgreens for me in this case, but who enjoys having to contact AT&T, Comcast, CenterPoint etc.? They have God-awful websites and phone systems that make you want to gnaw your own head off, yet we have little option but to waste our time fighting to give them our money because the few (if any) alternatives we are allowed are as bad or perhaps even worse.
In a world where there was actual competition, this wouldn’t happen. End of rant.
