COVID-19

I have not had that experience anywhere.

I suspect it happens a lot more in places other than our locale.

Maybe so, but I long since abandoned the thought I can save the world.

Meanwhile, two days later, my arm and shoulder around the injection site for the shingles vaccine still hurt. Full body aches and headaches stopped overnight, so there’s that at least. Give me a COVID shot any day!

Your operating system isn’t compatible with that code.

It takes a while for the chip to work its way out of the injection site and into your bloodstream.

I don’t know about y’all but I like to get my important health care advice from randos on the internet I had a case of the shingles when I was about 8 do I need to get the shingles shot now? Please tell me no, thanks.

If you’ve ever had chicken pox, you can get the shingles. It’s the same virus, but dormant for decades waiting for your immune system to forget about, then whammo! you’ve got the shingles and you start acting like Richard Nixon.

If you’ve had the shingles shot some time ago, like 5 years or so, there’s a new series of shots that’s more effective, and you’re supposed to go back and take the series. Either that or CVS was up-selling.

I had shingles about 10 years ago and the nurse at the doctor’s office gave me the vaccine during my visit in order to minimize the effects. I guess it helped. I seemed to have had a mild case. I broke-out along my belt-line, so I couldn’t wear jeans or slacks for about a week and a half. Other than the rash I had no other symptoms. I did have to lay on the couch in my underware while binge watching tv shows and movies for 10 days. That was nice the first few days, then I got restless and was ready to do something else but couldn’t.

Covid may have left me a gift: high blood pressure. I had my annual physical yesterday, and BP was higher than it should be. Home monitoring and efforts to bring it down without meds begin today.

I had shingles about 10 years ago too. I got it on the top of my thigh, from the belt line to the knee (you get it in quadrants…top/bottom/left/right). I got some sort of anti-viral shot, and did pretty much the same thing, laid around for a few days. It was incredibly painful at times though. I described it as…you know how when you get a sunburn on your back, and someone comes up and slaps you on the back? Now imagine someone coming up to that sunburn and stabbing you repeadedly with a fork. The pain lasted 4-5 days, and it was pretty much completely gone in 10 days.

I had chicken pox as a kid. Doctor recommended getting the vaccine. Sorry.

I had shingles when I had the chicken pox. It was great. There goes that perfect attendance Astroworld trip. Anyway it’s pretty clear to me that I now have natural immunity.

And it didn’t even involve any ass bleach or pee drinking; pair that with the fact that today’s Friday and things are starting to look up around here.

I recommend irradiating your balls. It’s the only way to be sure.

Tucker asking his viewers to irradiate their balls is honestly the best public service he’s ever performed.

That’s so out of fashion. The new Spring line includes Testes Tanning and slurping down eggs, or something. In fact, I’m scheduling my next Ball Glow right now.

I have a package of irradiated ground turkey in my basement fridge that I accidentally left down there for 3+ months. Through the clear plastic wrap, it looks as good today as the day I bought it. Irradiating is darn good stuff.
