One of my high school classmates has been the Tech play-by-play radio guy for a long time. Before that I think he did local tv sports in Lubbock. He got suspended earlier this year by the NCAA for criticizing the refs on a live broadcast.

Horns go into the half up 34-32 thanks to a mid court buzzer beater by Carr. Jones the only Horn shooting worth a damn, has 17 of the 34.
Someone needs to help Jones in the second half.
It’s time for Carr to provide some value. Somebody is going to have lock up with Mutts, because I’m sure Tech will go to him heavily in the 2nd half.

I guess they called some flagrant technical. If that 3 had gone in it’d been a 7-point play.
I’d forgotten that was the Runnin’ Horns’ first tournament win since they knocked out tempe normal school at the buzzer in ‘14.
