They whupped up on a good team tonight
Arizona beats Texas Tech 86-80. Both teams are going to the NCAA and Tech may get a #3 seed, but they won’t go far without both McMillian and Williams.
Arizona will face Houston in the tournament final tomorrow.
Florida is slaughtering Alabama.
Florida wins 104 to 82 over Alabama and will face Tennessee for the SEC tourney championship tomorrow.

Roberts is missed. Houston only has 3 real post players and 2 aren’t shot makers. They have no offense in the paint.
Congratulations to the Houston Cougars, the Big XII regular season and tournament champions. An absolutely dominant season from the Coogs capped by a 72-64 victory over Arizona in the tournament final.
UH will certainly be a #1 seed in the NCAA and may very well be THE #1 seed overall.

If Duke wins tonight they’ll no doubt be the overall #1. They probably are no matter what. They’re Duke, after all.
My guess for Big XII bids to the NCAA are:
UH, Tech, Arizona, Iowa State, Kansas, and BYU are all in. Baylor and West Virginia have a very small chance.
22-1 in Big12 games, regular season and conference tournament champs. Incredible season for the coogs. Now on to the big dance!

That was a good fight put up by the BasketCats against the Coogs, but ultimately too many school boy errors against a superb team like UH sunk my alma mater’s chances for a Big 12 title.

Coach took time to go thank each band member. Love this. I was never in the band, I have zero music ability. But over time have come to love how much those folks add to the college atmosphere and how hard they work.

If the seeding is on who has the best body of work for the season, it is Auburn.
If Duke had to play in the Big XII or SEC, they might not be in the discussion for a 1 seed. But because they are Duke…
