What I remember is playing in something that resembled a high school cafeteria. The acoustics were not outstanding in a positive dimension.
When I was in 1st Grade they taught us to square dance.
That sure came in handy later in life.
Yep, it’s the school’s multi purpose sports complex (space on campus is limited because land in DC is pretty limited). It’s attached to what used to be called the Khashoggi Center, named after Adnan Khashoggi who was one of the world’s biggest arms dealers.
@chuck Inside the former Khashoggi Center is The Tavern, which has to be where you played a few sets and was the only place on campus that served alcohol. I can confirm that the acoustics were shit. I also saw Big Bad Voodoo Daddy play there (to give you a sense of who you were competing with for the undergrads’ attention).

3 games in 3 days is a big ask against a fresh, rested team ranked 8th in the the polls.
2 pretty impressive wins for the Horns to get here though, and Weaver is a total difference maker on this team.

I thought I even saw them go to a zone for a minute, but they obviously didn’t know what they were doing with that and Tennessee nailed a wide-open 3-pointer. Experiment over.

The UH Cougars showed that their early season beatdown of the BYU Cougars was no fluke. Houston took a 21 point lead at half and coasted to a 74-54 victory. They will play for the tournament championship tomorrow.

Coogs without Roberts pistol whip one of the hottest teams in the country. That’s as good as I’ve seen the defense play in a few weeks, Slept walked thru the Colorado game but came out with a purpose tonight. That for sure locks up a 1 seed for the 3rd year in a row. Incredible

Texas Tech’s Achilles heel has been a short bench. Without McMillian or Williams they are thin, with Toppin blowin’n beets on the sideline, they’re thinner. Arizona came to play and Tech has no answer for Caleb Love, who is doing anything he wants.
