College Basketball '22-'23

Coogs struggling in Wichita against the Shockers, but manage to lead 30-29 at the half on ESPN2

The Big XII has had some preliminary discussions with Gonzaga about the Zags joining the Conference for basketball. Gonzaga is a national power in basketball but has no football program. They also have a fine baseball program, but joining the Big XII in baseball has not been discussed.

In related news, the Big XII has rejected OUT’s latest plan to exit the conference early.

The link:

Coogs hang on to win 70-61 in Wichita to go to 21-2, 9-1 in conference play.

They look like a Sweet 16 or better team.

There is something about the state of Kansas, and it is the worst in Lawrence but it is almost as bad in Wichita and Manhattan – the referees lose their minds.

My #5 ranked alma mater puts on a nice beat down of the quack attack/oregano/phil knight u, in a payback game with a superb team performance, especially with Azoulas Tubelis playing out of his Lithuanian skull.

I also portend the mid season reversion to the 1997 National Championship unis is fantastic mojo…

Let’s go BasketCats.

Such a clever response, and so original. Thanks for that.

WTF?

Incredible win. I was waving the white flag down 11 at the half.

?? I was not referring to your post.

I know. I was questioning the snarky reply to Austro.

So far DelConte has not called me for my opinion, but if he can recruit, Rodney Terry deserves consideration for the HC job.

I hate to see “you hate to see it” after anything bad happens to “the other guy” – it seems to show up multiple times per day in multiple threads. It gets boring.

I thought he was being sincere. Showing empathy for the downtrodden.
