Poor ol’ Jayhawk.

So when it comes to that phrase, you actually hate to see it?

I agree. Strong consideration.

Both #1 Purdue and #2 Tennessee have lost since the last AP and Coaches polls. In Philly tomorrow, #3 Houston plays Temple (who own one of UH’s 2 losses).

Ok.

I’ll tell you what I really would hate to see: KU with anything better than a 3 seed in the tournament. They’re a good team, but no better than a dozen or so other teams. The current schlong-gorvelling by the bracketologists bestowing a 1 seed on them is embarrassing.

As a UH fan, I hope we win tomorrow but also hope we aren’t 1, nor do I really think we should be.

I am still not quite believing the score in Manhattan today.

They played with a lot of passion in the second half. At halftime I figured they were looking at a 20-pt loss.

My alma mater shreds the dam-builders/oregano state/phil knight u lite with a resounding victory.

Even saw one of the UA scrubs/Gumbies/bench-warmers get into the game whose parents I went to HS with back in Tucson.
I’m feeling fucking old.

Well done, BasketCats.

Also, superb win by my late father’s alma mater over kansas aggy today.
Love those UT unis :metal:

Baylor ran Tech out of the gym and probably put the final nail in Tech’s NCAA hopes.

Baylor is healthy now and their offense looks unstoppable. The Big XII tournament is going to be an absolute melee.

If you didn’t see the end of the Auburn /Tenn game. AU down 3 and the ref swallows his whistle. I am biased but sure looked like a foul to me. Didn’t cost them the game, they had their chances before that they they didn’t maximize. But they had the chance to tie.

It was absolutely a foul

eta: speaking of Auburn

Yes that’s a foul.

Coogs sure turned it on in the 2nd half

The Cougars trailed by 4 at the half but rallied to outscore Temple by 20 in the 2nd half to win 81-65 in Philly.

Purdue stays #1 and UH moves up to #2. Interesting.

At least they refs don’t let the Jayhawks use weapons.

Carr is incredibly careless so far tonight.

When he’s not scoring well, the rest of his game slips along with it.
