College Baseball 2022

Shit no, it is not. It is being realistic about a playoff baseball game.

I got mad at him earlier for consecutive 2-out-nobody-on run-scoring innings. He’s battled all game.

If UT had a decent bullpen, Hansen could have been out after 6 to save some pitches.

You mean after 5, right?

Yeah. I am trying to do two things at once and misread the inning, I guess-after we scored a bunch and got their pitcher out of the game.

Tech and Notre Dame in a rain delay after less than one inning. Nice reading of the weather report, NCAA. Tech is behind 2-0 with one out in the bottom of the first. It’s been more than a hour so i assume both starters are done for the day.

Longhorns now pulling away. 9-2 after 6. I don’t expect Texas to have much difficulty with this regional.

Well, he’s still in for the 7th with a 7 run lead, Pierce has as much faith in his pen as us fans do.

It’s never easy

Broadcast showed earlier that the #1 overall seed hasn’t won the CWS since '99, that surprised me.

…is bliss. Nothing about a playoff series is easy.

I am with Austro, though, on IF we can get to the Super Regional, anything can happen there. I feel a lot better about 2 out of 3 than I do the multi-game regional double-elimination chances.

Catcher’s interference, a sacrifice bunt, a steal, and a wild pitch give Notre Dame the lead over Tech in the bottom of the 8th, 3-2.

And now nobody covers second on the delayed steal. Sheesh.

They small-balled us for two in the first, and now again in the eighth.

A disappointing season and a disappointing tournament for the Red Raiders. ND 3 - TTU 2

I have no animosity for Tech, but I hope the Disappointed Ghost of Dan Law is cursing and shaking his fist in Hell, turning red and demanding that everyone run laps while no one listens to his old, mean, dead ass.

TCU, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Georgia, Oregon and Gonzaga all losing to lower seeds today.

NM State up and threatening on national #3 Oregon State 3-2 in the 7th, on espnU

I was just informed that 92% of regional winners since '99 win their first game

I miss having a rooting interest in this. Regionals are so much fun.
