Meanwhile, the BatCats and the entire Miami Regional have yet to play a game. Tropical Storm Alex has dumped something like 12 inches of rain!! Supposedly, Miami/Canisius and Arizona/Ole Miss will play this afternoon. Supposedly.
Texas Tech beats UNCG 2-0 and gets to play tomorrow. No offense from the Red Raiders agains as both runs score on a wild pitch and throwing error in the 8th. Tech’s pitching has been better than expected, but the offense has been absent. They will play the loser of the Ga. Southern vs Notre Dame game.
Amazing feat yesterday:
Foster not only hit 2 in the 1st inning, he hit one from each side of the plate. He hit another homer later in the game. Ended up 4 for 6 with 9 RBI. All in his first game back from an oblique injury.
SE Louisiana was eliminated today by UCLA. They have up 35 runs in two games. Yikes!

In softball, OU beat Texas today 7-2 to improve to 56-2(!) on the season.
There’s no way OU doesn’t win the softball title.
