I think I mentioned Bijan’s injury somewhere in my ramblings. I watched his PC on YouTube. He struggled with the decision, he said.
Perhaps “crazy” was unduly harsh, but I completely support these young men securing their future.

Arkansas beats Kansas 55-53 in 3 OT. Kansas mounted a huge 4th Qtr comeback including a successful onside kick to tie the game at 38, but couldn’t get the 2 point try in the 3rd OT.
Texas Tech leads Ole Miss 26-7 at the half. Tech has squandered two trips inside the 10 with no points but the defense has stopped the Rebels on many 4th downs and Tech has scored with a couple of FGs and QB Tyler Shough getting two TDs on the ground and one through the air.
The Big XII has yet to win a bowl game so hopefully Tech can keep it up in the second half.
Texas Tech beats Ole Miss 42-25 and breaks the Big XII losing streak.
Joey McGuire gets 8 wins and a contract extension on his first year as a head coach. Coach McGuire has landed the highest rated recruiting class Tech has had in a long time and Raider Nation feels better about football than we have since the Pirate days.
Ole Miss isnt very good. Go look at their wins and losses. But ESPN pumped them up because SEC.
Ole Miss melted after the Bama win and when Kiffen started flirting with other schools. They didn’t end the season well at all.
They didn’t score 30 in a game after the Bama game. It will be interesting to see what happens with their staff and players over the off season. I expect a fair amount of changes.

At some point the UT defensive coaches and players will realize that Penix can’t throw to a receiver beyond 5 yards downfield.

Not so much. I did not expect to win this game with the opt outs. Maybe Worthy should catch the ball before chasing money elsewhere. Ewers played well, and all the recruits signed. Bring on 2023.
