OK, knowing that sentimental history now, the worm font was obviously an easy choice. And honestly, it doesn’t have to be that readable anyway.
Not a fan of the “city connection” unis.
They remind me of something you’d find in the gift shop at the end of Space Mountain at Disneyland.
I guess they could be worse, though.
Maybe that’s why I like them. Space Mountain is fucking awesome.
That it is.
Yep, I was channeling those eyesores when I posted.
Something fugly for the Massholes/sawx only seems fitting…
Gah!
Wearing that is just asking to have your ass kicked.
I like those. I’ll die on that hill. Not as good as Washington’s, but they’re good.
The Orioles, who have had a bottom-3 payroll for years and four winning seasons since 1998, and whose owner is worth $2 billion, just secured $1.2 billion in public funding for Camden Yards.
I think the new pitch-calling system has run into glitches in at least three different games today.
Early days, but my subjective and purely anecdotal experience is that the system significantly speeds things up between pitches. I am pro.
That twitter thread was priceless- the hated dojers fans whining in their typical and predictable self-absorbed/pious/self-righteous fashion was cute.
Fuck rob manfred.
A dojer fan asked if other teams used tech like Houston and Boston. His response:
It’s amazing how player after player says this but the media never follows up.
Does this refer to other teams using the tech or the Astros being good human beings?
ETA: Sorry, meant to quote the passage about “more than half the league”
No need to make a big deal of this. The perpetrators have been identified and punished.
Twitter formatting comes through so weird. Teams using tech, though.
None of this matters until someone goes on the record about a specific team or teams and the system they used. I really hope that happens one day.
The measured, rational response from MLB and fans alike should definitely help that happen.
