Uhā¦
They look pretty good for a special occasion uniform. Those socks arenāt what I would call a rainbow pattern but I guess one could say a rainbow of colors in a gradient pattern. I wonder if there is a Pantone color match or name for that particular blend.
I think I like them also.
The caps look sweet
Holy fuck those are hideous.
More of an ombre.
I like the cap logo and the nasa font. I do wish they were white instead of blue. The grid sleeves are unnecessary, makes them look too busy.
Iām not much of a fan of the pants above the knees. Though, Iām sure pants length is a players choice.
Sidd Finch level insanity in the NPBā¦
Ha! Could have been better. I scouted a HS game (upcoming opponent) when I was coaching at Brenham. The pitcher threw a perfect game and struck out all 21 in the seven inning HS game. Let that sink in; the team facing him did not hit a fair ball.
Iām with you HH. Other than the hats, which I like well enough to probably buy, the rest is horrendous.
Not gonna lie, Iām a fan.
My dad did that once in an industrial league. It was a tournament and turns out the other team were basically a softball team who just wanted to try their luck in the tournament. How good could these guys be, right? They grossly underestimated the level of talent theyād be facing.
Learned last night that longtime Astros radio engineer Mike āthe looseā Cannon passed away. R.I.P.
I knew Mike from my days of assisting Bob Green on game days during spring training back in the 90ās. A super nice gentleman. As I recall, he was a flight enthusiast and had his pilot license for many years. R.I.P
Hereās the hoodie and t shirt that go with the citywhatever uniforms.
If the hoodie didnāt have those full cuffs on the sleeves Iād already have ordered one.
Oh man I love those socks. Theyāre rocket boosters! itās cheesy as shit but I love it. I think the yellow-orange gradient is a nice update to the old rainbow stripes.
I donāt like the font for the lettering though. The numbers are ok but the letters are hard to read.
The font is from the '75 redesign of the NASA logo, āthe wormā
Funny NASA story: They retired that old NASA logo with those letters (they call it the worm) because of the readability issues. Guess what was the #1 employee request in their annual EVS survey year-over-year? The return to that logo. They were overjoyed last year when it was allowed back as an āofficialā NASA branding element.
