It’s certainly being cute. Urias pitched on Saturday night, so he is on full rest for this game. I hope the Giants knock the Dodgers out tonight, too.
I heard on MLB Tonight that it was an Andrew Friedman decision because of the Giants potentially having their first 7 hitters batting RH. The Giants still haven’t announced their lineup.
Lol. It’s funny that Urias won 20 games with a sub 3.00 ERA, but the Dodgers want to use an opener because the Giants might run 7 right-handed hitters at him in a row to start the game. File this under when analytics go too far.
