The Angels are such an embarrassment of an organization. The best player in the game, an owner willing to spend(say what you will about him but he will spend), and they canât make the postseason in a decade. Inept.

They wonât make a Moneyball movie about the Rays, but they must have the premier value front office/coaching staff in the league right now. Astros payroll is $192M vs. the Rays with $70M.

It always boggles my mind that the Rays get plaudits for fielding a quality team while refusing to adequately compensate labor. Thatâs not really a virtue in my book.
But, like MM says, the Pirates should get some enabling credit too.

Yankees down 12-2 to the Rays, Toronto up 6-1. Yankees trying hard to make the 4/way happen.

So Gleyber Torres just struck out, and the ball got buy Zunino, all the way to the screen. Torres trots down the line, looking back as Zunino runs it down and throws him out by a step. No effort whatsoever. Judge reams him out in the dugout. Wow.
