I believe that (minus the blue monstrosities) these are the unis that you can/will see this season

…and yes, I hope the blood and mud mid '00s are also jettisoned along with the 90’s blue and gold

Nice!

That ‘60s shooting star with the orange hat never registered with me, but I’ve always like those unis.
I never really minded the navy and gold, they certainly were not my favorite, but again, the mud ‘n blood was awful imho.
I don’t hate the new beveled H and star, but the original is so Houston Astros baseball and I absolutely adore it- such an iconic logo.

My favorite unis will always be the rainbow shoulder boards of the ‘80s-early ‘90s and I always loved the navy blue batting practice unis of that era. I often thought those should’ve been the Astros’ road unis, but no one ever asked me :man_shrugging:t3::joy:

Guess I’m being nostalgic today in my mid-life

My favorite Houston Astros unis:

Those are the top 3 throwbacks, everyone agrees on this (right?)

Well, the first one is a true classic, it is timeless and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It is singular and stands alone. The other two are sharp but dated. I agree on them being top three but a there is a huge gaping chasm between 1 and 2.

Outstanding. Makes me want to subscribe.

I’ve always felt like my subscription is a bargain for what I get out of it.

The Shooting Star never should have been jettisoned. It’s pleasing to the eye and it’s a clever logo.

Rickey stole Robinson from the Monarchs. He did not pay or even offer a penny for him to KC. Veeck paid for Doby, Doby does not get his due as a trailblazer.

The Prospectus was a major part of my ST trips with my best fried, the tragically late and lost Dan Robertson. Good for you, MM, for your BP gig.

Really, really good video on how Mariners RHP Bryan Woo went from terrible college reliever to high-end MLB starter—and what the early signs were that he had elite potential. You can tell this exact kind of story about many products of the Astros Pitching Factory.

Foolish usually puts out quality content and this one is no different

This is odd. Apparently, Betts has lost 20 lbs in the last week and they still can’t figure it out.

Dodgers’ Mookie Betts remains out with undiagnosed stomach illness: ‘My body’s just kind of eating itself’

Maybe the guilt from being on a cheating team like the BoSox in '18 and never having to atone for it is finally eating away at him?

A fantastic hat with the Space City uniforms, though. It is perhaps my favorite.

Both Raups have one.

Brewers–Yanks just started. Nestor Cortes pitching for Milwaukee against his old team. Goldschmidt, Bellinger, and Judge homered on the first three pitches he threw. He got two outs then gave up yet another homer. Jason Jenningsesque.

This guy who relieved Cortes, his debut could have gone better.

How many of those homers went to RF? People bitch about the Crawford Boxes, but whatever factors combine in RF in Yankee Stadium make that place worse, in my opinion.

The Yankees have 8 HR.

In 4 innings.
