Matt Chapman is absurdly good at the hot corner. Here’s how he saved the game for SFG tonight:
Holy cow.
Do not miss him being in our division.
Now that Justin Verlander has joined the top ten list for strikeouts, half of that group including Nolan Ryan, Randy Johnson, Roger Clemens, and Don Sutton were at one time Astros.
Remarkable.

Somebody explain this to HH since he’s unable to click on a link with a mouse
I can click on a link, but I don’t have a Twitter account.
And yes, an explanation would be helpful.
I don’t, nor have ever, had a twitter account. I click on the link and I look at the stuff. You should try it.
It’s just a video of the 2013 Astros.
Congratulations. I get a link to “New to X? Sign up and don’t miss a minute of the action…blah, blah, blah…”
Huh? Well nevermind then. I get a box on the right that says Sign in with Google, Sign in with This, or That…and I never sign in to anything and it doesn’t prevent me from watching the thing
Popup drops in shallow CF, guy on 1B is flying around the bases, defensive sillyness trying to pick up the ball, and the the CF races the runner to home plate and they both slide at the same time…good tag, he’s out.
Score it a 6-8 tag at home plate (ss pawed at the ball after it dropped but didn’t make the pickup).
I think that was actually the batter, not a runner. I could be wrong.
You may be right, I may be crazy
Acuña out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. Ouch.
That freaking sucks.
Via Passan: “Umpire Angel Hernandez is retiring, a source confirms to ESPN. One of the most controversial figures in the game, the source of much ire and frustration by fans and players alike, Hernandez has umpired his last game in Major League Baseball.”
MLB negotiated a settlement for him to “retire”
The HoF has asked for Torkelson’s bat and batting gloves to commemorate the event:
Angel Hernandez is a sorry piece of shit.
He’s never been sorry for anything.
