I suppose the thinking is that one of Dubon or Chas will be available. I’m not sure why Singleton makes the roster other than he plays first base, and I don’t see Abreu missing any innings. The (very) occasional power?
I hope you are right, but I still remember it being reported that Max could barely get out of bed…and missing a WS start…inky to be pumped full of god knows what and ran back out the next night for a fantastic start against us. Again, I hope you are right.
Ugh, this is going to be more stressful than playing the Yankees…
