Dubon deserves criticism for individual games or plays perhaps (who doesn’t?), but he is a valuable part of this team.

To be clear, I love Dubon; my issue with Dusty, who treats a good utility player like a must-start on a daily basis.

For the non xers, actually a pretty cool stat:
The @astros are the first team in MLB history to have their No. 9 and No. 1 batters hit back-to-back HR twice in the same game.
It certainly has recently. When the GZ has criticized Dusty starting Dubon, Dubon has contributed positively that game more often than not.

I’m so glad the good guys won. I couldn’t participate in the game zone due to the overwhelming but understandable negativity. I know that’s how it goes but it was bumming me out so much when the Rangers took a 2-0 lead, I had to sign out. All the bitching and complaining about Dusty, while deserved, has become like a broken record. I’m guess that’s Dusty’s fault too.

The problem with Dubon playing is that someone better is sitting.
Be had a greatvgame today, and has had several great games this year.
But the sum of his season pales beside Chas’.
And coming in to the game today, Chas sat 3 of the past 5 games and was PH for in a crucial part of another.
And Chas has been one of the 5 best players on this team all season long.
He should be above Dubon in the pecking order but he’s not.
